new sequencer progress...
Just got the polyrythum power distribution bit going! from michael page on Vimeo.
The inner contact is going round faster to compensate for there being fewer pads on the path it follows (40 pads (40 steps for 5/4ish time sequencing)). The outer contact has 64 pads (4/4ish time sigs). So they both advance 1 pad at a time :-) . Oh my crikey its going to be sweet.
power distribution
These pairs of gears do different time signatures. They have different size teeth so that the centers for each pair are equidistant so that they match up on the drive motor and power distribution.
