Wormed Voice (by Martin Howse)
Wormed voice is a touch controlled speech synth device designed by Martin Howse for a workshop at Music Hackspace. It can be used to give a voice to worms. It has a tone generator with different tones from speech synthesis history, a whitenoise source and seven notch filters to make formants. I tried the wormed voice on my niece Flora and Monts the cat to see if I could get some chats out of them...im currently modifying it so it talks to the optic scanner sequencer I made a couple of years ago. I think they will be good bed fellows.

I'm modifying a phonics desk so you can program it to talk to you with cmos and switches. Its pretty daft. I mean the amount of hardware and soldering invested in a phonics desk is daft. I should really be over circuit bending stuff but heck its fun sometimes just to treat yourself to opening something up and making it freak out and to make a big stupid heap of stupid switches.
